A Night With Neil Diamond at Alexa Park LV

ROB GARRETT’S “King of Diamonds Neil Diamond Tribute” Vegas residency show continues in the “Modern Showrooms Las Vegas” at Alexis Park Las Vegas Hotel.

Neil Diamond is one of the greatest and most admired singer/songwriters in rock and pop music history.

More than just being one of the top-selling and concert drawing artists ever, he’s also created and performed the soundtrack of our lives — including some of the most famous songs on the planet.

In the beginning of 2018, shortly before his 77th birthday, Neil Diamond announced his retirement from performing after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s.

However, Diamond’s concert legacy continues to be celebrated for audiences worldwide through longtime Las Vegas performer Rob Garrett, widely regarded as the top Neil Diamond tribute artist.

Ask Alexa “who is America’s number one Neil Diamond tribute artist,” and you’ll get the same answer.

Like his idol, Rob Garrett was a Brooklyn, New York native.

In May 1974, his parents moved the family from New York City to the Las Vegas Valley, where, in 1976, he witnessed his first Neil Diamond concert when Diamond debuted in Las Vegas to record crowds at the Aladdin Theater for the Performing Arts (now “PH Live”) in July 1976.

Garrett went on to see him multiple times across the country—right up until Diamond’s last American show at the Los Angeles Forum on August 12, 2017.

In 1980, Garrett started his own band, “Rock n Roll Heaven,” and enjoyed a long and successful run in Las Vegas and across the nation before transitioning from lead singer of a cover band to a full-time tribute performer dedicated to one of his musical idols.

In 1995, Garrett was hand-picked by the legendary Paul Revere to portray Neil Diamond in Rob Garrett Neil Diamond Tribute Artist schedule 2025 the world-famous “Legends in Concert” review.

What was meant to be a short engagement turned into a three-year success.

By August 1998, Garrett was back in Vegas and continued to perform with “Legends” for another couple of years before deciding to launch his own show.

He began a busy tour circuit, building a strong worldwide fan community along the way—earning the title “King of Diamonds.”

He continues to draw packed houses nationwide, often in venues reserved for national acts.

Garrett has also received multiple accolades, including “Male Tribute Artist of the Year.”

“Since Neil Diamond retired, I’ve felt a strong sense of responsibility to keep his legacy alive for future generations. It’s something I never get tired of doing,” he said.

On May 19, 2025 officially proclaimed the date “Rob Garrett Day,” commemorating Rob’s 50 years as a Las Vegas resident and 44 years as a professional Vegas performer.

Now in the year 2025, Garrett celebrates 45 years as an active Las Vegas entertainer, with the last three decades devoted solely to paying tribute to the now-retired Neil Diamond.

It has been said that no other tribute artist is so closely identified with the original performer as Garrett, who has appeared at more Vegas stages than any other.

Since the June closing of “A Beautiful Noise” (the Broadway jukebox musical based on Diamond’s life story), Rob Garrett’s “King of Diamonds” show has become the nation’s sole ongoing Neil Diamond tribute show.

Alexis Park Hotel Las Vegas is located at 375 E. Harmon Ave., near the Las Vegas Strip.
